Welcome to Missouri

Crossed the Mississippi on a little 2 lane bridge with a rough surface (a little dicey) & began MO in expansive flat farmland. That didn't last long though & we found ourselves climbing hills again.
Spent the night in jail. Actually a former county jail now turned into one of the nicest bike hostels we've been in!
Tuesday- another hot one, but we head north off route towards the KATY trail which will avoid both traffic & hills! We should be on course again by Newton KS.
