Lodging in VA

Our "camp sites" couldn't have been more varried these first few days! Our first night was at the beautiful Newport News city park- more like a state park, with 5,000 acres of woods and water. The next night we camped at Willis UM Church whose ministry is to cyclists- offering restrooms; kitchen, & shelter in their teen hut. The next night was at a singularly unpleasant RV park uggh!
But we made up for it with a bit of heaven! Tonight we spent the evening being treated to warm showers, a great dinner, & playing Mozart Quintets with our friends Bev & Ray... Welcome to Charlottesville! Good thing, because we tackle the mountains in the disance on Tuesday.

  1. Hey, Barb! We are confused here in Pittsburgh. Our "Barb Bible" Calendar says you would be in Vesuvius Monday night. Where did we go wrong?
